1. Generating Insights from a Story
ChatHarmoni generates insights from any Harmoni story view. You can then refine these insights through the strategic use of prompt engineering to ask targeted questions. Crafting your prompts will get optimal responses from AI models.
To get started you need to have a story saved:
- Create an analysis and save to a story, or
- Select a previously created story from the STORIES area
- Select a story view
- Click the ChatHarmoni button that displays in the top right of the story view area
Note: You do not need to be the owner of a story to generate insights.
- Open a Story
- Click a view tile
- Click the ChatHarmoni button
- Insights are automatically generated
AI generated insights serve as a starting point. It's important that you review, refine, and verify the information before using it in research or reporting.
2. Story Insights: Additional Options
Once the commentary has been generated, you have three options available to you:
- Click ChatHarmoni button to generate insights
- You can Regenerate, Copy to Comments or Ask a question.
Ask a question
After reviewing the initial commentary, you can interrogate the data further by asking questions. Using well-structured prompts that include relevant context, clear instructions, and examples, you can guide ChatHarmoni to provide more detailed responses that enhance your analysis.
Tip: If a response feels generic, add specifics - timeframe, segment, metric, benchmark, etc., and request a format e.g., table or bullets.
Regenerate
If the insights aren't quite what you're looking for, you can click REGENERATE to generate a new set of insights.
Copy to Comments
To save the insights, you can select Copy to Comments, which places the insights into the comments box. Here you can edit the summary before clicking SAVE. After saving, these comments are available to other users with whom you have shared the story. When you export your story to PowerPoint, the comments are included in the slide's notes section.
Once you've copied, reviewed and edited the AI output, click SAVE to keep the single session response for future reference.
- Scroll to the end of the response
- Select Copy to Comments to review and edit
- After saving, anyone with access to the story can view the comments
- When exporting to PPT, responses appear in the notes section
