When exporting to PowerPoint, ChatHarmoni can generate a high-level executive summary of the entire story, consolidating key insights across multiple views for executive audiences, or provide view summaries for each story view. The executive summary is presented as a slide in the exported PPT deck, while view summaries can be added as a headline or in the notes section of each slide.

1. AI Story Summaries
Story Summaries are an AI-powered feature that automatically generates summaries of your Story as you export it to PowerPoint. Two options are available:
- A high-level summary of the entire story exported to a dedicated summary slide, helping analysts and stakeholders to quickly understand key insights and trends across multiple views.
- Individual view insights summarizing each analysis and exported to each slide in PowerPoint. You can choose to export to Notes or Headlines.
The generated content can be reviewed, edited, and customized as required before sharing.

2. Export Story Summaries
You can export a story with AI summaries from several places.
- From the three-dot menu on the story tile
- From the PowerPoint button in the story menu
Story Tile: Find the story you want to export in the Stories area or the Story Tile View Space, click the three-dot menu and select Export to PPT.
PowerPoint Button: Click the PPT icon at the top of the Harmoni screen
Then...
- Tick the Include AI generated summary option
- Select Across Story and/or For each Story View
- If selecting For each Story View, choose In Notes or As Headline
- Click Export
- ChatHarmoni analyzes the story and generates the selected summary option(s)
- Open the 3-dot menu on the story tile from and click Export to PPT
- Or, click the PPT button
- Tick Include an AI generated summary
- Select summary type and export location if applicable
- Click Export
- Open the PPT and review the summaries
Always review the generated summary and make any edits or adjustments required before sharing with your audience. The summaries can be modified, moved, or removed like any other PowerPoint slide. The summary slide includes the note AI Insights generated by ChatHarmoni.
3. Export a Single Story View Summary
View Tile
When exporting a single story view, the PowerPoint export can include a summary for the view. You can export a single view and include a summary from the story view tile in the story tile view space or in the story preview space.
- On the view tile in the story tile view space use the 3-dot menu
- Click the tile to view it in the story preview space and use the 3-menu on the view tile in the side panel
PowerPoint Button
After clicking the view tile to preview the analysis in the story view tile, you can click the PPT icon and select to include the summaries on the whole story or for the single story view.
- Click the view tile to preview it
- Click the PPT icon
- Select Story or Story View
- Tick Include an AI generated summary
- Choose the options you require
Considerations
- Story Summaries are currently available only when exporting to PowerPoint.
- Stories are currently limited to a maximum of 50 views for summary generation.
- The summary is AI-generated and should be reviewed for accuracy and relevance before distribution.
