1. Generating Insights with ChatHarmoni
When you first load your project in Harmoni to begin analyzing data, instead of dragging items into the analysis drop zones, you can let ChatHarmoni do the heavy lifting.
Click the ChatHarmoni button to open the ChatHarmoni panel.
ChatHarmoni is in beta development and you may not see the icon. Contact support@infotools.com for more information.
Once the ChatHarmoni panel is open, you see several options. There are three pre-wired, quick action prompts to choose from, or you can simply ask your own questions.

ChatHarmoni Quick Actions
When you first start analyzing your project, it can be a little daunting. Let ChatHarmoni work with you to begin your analysis journey. These three Quick Actions can start you on the right path.
- DESCRIBE - Describes/summarizes the project
- ANALYZE - Provides 10 helpful analyses

DESCRIBE
ChatHarmoni assesses the project and explains the contents to identify the themes, purpose and structure. It suggests how this data may be used by different stakeholders and provides a comprehensive summary of the project. It's a great way to know what is in the project to get you started and gives you a holistic view of all the items you might want to explore. You can also copy and paste any of the information directly from the ChatHarmoni panel into a report.
- Open the ChatHarmoni panel
- Click the DESCRIBE button
ANALYZE
ChatHarmoni assesses the data and suggests 10 valuable analyses to begin investigating the data. Harmoni runs the top ranked analysis and provides a detailed description at the end of this top 10 list. You can also click any of the analysis titles to display the analysis.
Once the list is available, you can use the ChatHarmoni talent, Save All, to save all your analyses into a story. Simply type Save All into the prompt box and ChatHarmoni saves all 10 analyses into a story.

- The top 10 analyses are run and the top analysis is displayed
- Type Save All into the prompt box to save the analyses to a story
DISCOVER
ChatHarmoni assesses your data and provides a Target analysis across several key descriptors using Bayesian statistics. This is the perfect way to understand statistical probability and relationships between targets and their comparison points.
Click DISCOVER and ChatHarmoni runs a Discover table, selecting a suitable target and presenting the results in a table. A description of the target is provided and a list of the variables used to provide a comprehensive profile are included.
- Open the ChatHarmoni panel
- Click DISCOVER
- A Discover table is presented with a full description of the target and its descriptors.
Write Your Own Question
At any stage you can use your own prompt in the Type your question text box.
You can use a prompt in combination with the Quick Action responses, asking ChatHarmoni to dig deeper into the results presented or make some changes to an analysis. You can also start from scratch and focus your questions in the areas you want to learn about, creating new analyses or providing new insight into your project. Your prompt may be short - a simple question, or you can provide a comprehensive prompt tailored to your project.

Regenerate
At any stage you can regenerate any of the requests by clicking the REGENERATE button
Docked vs Floating Panel
When you first open the ChatHarmoni panel it is docked within the Harmoni interface. Grab the drag handle on the panel divider to resize it.
If you prefer the panel to float over the analysis, click the Float this panel option in the top right of the ChatHarmoni panel. Grab the grip icon to move the floating panel. You can resize it as required. Unless you click the icon to redock the panel, it remains floating during your session.
Use the Panel Docking icon to redock the panel and click the X, or the ChatHarmoni icon again to close the panel.
