1. Global Menu Bar
The global menu bar is always accessible and is found along the top of the Harmoni screen. This menu bar provides actions and functions that have a global purpose.
These include (as applicable):
- Work Area Access (primarily Projects, Stories and Dashboards)
- Global Filters (available for projects with Global Filters)
- Content Preview Eye (available for users included in the Preview Access Group)
- Color Scheme
- Knowledge Base
- Notifications (Coming soon)
- Sign out
The Global Menu Bar is always accessible and in a fixed position.
2. Harmoni Work Areas
Accessed via the global menu bar, the key work areas are where you create your projects, stories and dashboards. Work area access is limited to your role (i.e., Creator, Explorer, Viewer) or site configuration.
Harmoni key work areas include:
- Projects
- Stories
- Dashboards
- Alerts

3. Active Work Area
Clicking a work area menu highlights the name in orange, indicating the work area you are viewing.
When you load an item in a work area, e.g., you click load on a Project tile, an orange line appears under the work area label to show you which workspace you have loaded.
4. Content Menu Bar
Actions and information relating to your currently loaded item.
Active Title and Favorite Icons
Once a Project or Story is loaded/viewed the active title and favourite icons display in the content menu bar.
History Widget
The content menu bar in Projects also displays the history widget to enable you to move easily between projects you have loaded while working in the Projects area.
5. Harmoni Logo
Navigate to the landing page by clicking on the logo.
6. Color Scheme Toggle
Part of the global menu bar, the color scheme toggle allows toggling between light and dark schemes to suit your presentation medium or personal preference.
PowerPoint exports are not affected by the color scheme toggle. Your PPT template settings determine these.

7. Help and Knowledge Base
Click the ? icon to access Harmoni Support. Here you access the AI Help agent where you can Ask a question or Get in touch.
- Ask a question: Type in your question to access relevant articles in the Knowledge Base. The more specific the question, the more likely you are to find the information you need. A summary of the information you request is presented to you, along with a range of articles to select where you can access more detail.
- Get in touch: You'll be prompted to fill in some details about the issue and a ticket will be logged with our Support team. Please share as many details as possible including screenshots or relevant attachments. This will help our Support team answer your query as quickly as possible.

8. Notifications (Coming Soon)
The Profile Icon provides access to the notification panel. Notifications keep you informed about recent activity in Harmoni, for example, when a project is published or when an export task completes.

9. Add to Story (Story Action Menu)
After creating an analysis you can add the analysis view to a story. If you have not previously loaded a story or you have not saved any analyses to a story, the following options are available:
No story active
- Clicking + adds the current view to a new story
- You can also select Add to new story
- Add to existing story allows you to add the analysis to a story you have previously created
If you have previously loaded a story or have already saved analyses to an active story, the story name appears to the left of the + and the following options are available:
Story active
- Clicking + adds the current view to an active story
- You can also select Add to current story to add it to the active story
- Add to new story allows you to add the current view to a new story
- Add to existing story allows you to add the analysis to a story you have previously created
10. Direct Export to Excel and PowerPoint
You can export your analysis, chart or dashboard directly to Excel or PowerPoint by using the icons in the top right corner of the content menu bar.
