Accessed via the global menu bar, the key work areas are where you create everything in Harmoni. Key work areas include Projects, Stories, Dashboards, and Alerts.
Work area access is limited to your role (i.e., Creator, Explorer, Viewer) or site configuration.

Harmoni Work Areas and Features
Across the different Harmoni Work Areas you will find similar features present. Review the graphic below and refer to the corresponding information to learn about these features.
1. Menu/Curtain
Clicking one of the work area menus opens a curtain overlay and presents various options to load, manage or share the items, e.g., Projects, within Harmoni.
The display of options is contextual to the area; however, there are standard actions and capabilities shared across all the work areas.
To close the work area there are three options:
- Click on the work area menu name
- Click in the space just below the overlay curtain
- Click on the X at the top right
2. Search
You can search for a specific project, story, dashboard, etc.
Typing in the search box limits the list displayed to only those items that contain the search parameter. This search is based on the title of the item in work area.
3. Sort
A drop-down list selector allows you to sort projects, stories, dashboards, etc.
The items can be sorted by:
Name: Alphabetical Name
Most Recent: The most recently created item
4. Tiles
Each tile gives you information about the item
- Name: The name is listed at the base of the tile. The owner of the item can change the name.
- Type: The icon indicates whether the tile represents a project, story, dashboard or alert

Ownership: Hovering over the person or shared icon displays the owner name
- Items you own display the icon
- Items shared with you display the icon
- Items you own display the icon
- Hovering over the tile gives you options to Load, Share, View, or Edit, depending on the work area you are in
- The 3-dot menu is available and displays contextual options
5. Tile Display Filter
Use the tile display filter to show only/all items based on ownership, favorite, or shared states.
Owned by me: Any item you have ownership for (either solely or shared ownership).
Favorites: Items that you have added to your favorites.
Shared with me: Items that have been shared with you for read-only/export access.
All: Selecting the All option shows all available items (for the chosen work area) irrespective of their other categorization.
Default Tile Display Filter
Harmoni defaults to Owned by me. You can change the default by hovering over your preferred option and clicking on the star. The orange star indicates your new default.
Your preference can be different across work areas.
6. Tile Interactions
a. Hover over a tile to load/view or share the item.
b. Use the 3-dot menu to display options contextual to the tile.
