Harmoni automatically adds totals to your analysis table, but if you don't need to see them, you have the option to hide all totals using the Totals ON/OFF button. You can also use the Selector to hide individual totals.

1. Show/Hide All Totals
Totals ON/OFF button
When you create an analysis, the totals are turned ON by default. If you don't want to see the totals in your analysis table, open the modify menu and click the OFF button to hide them.
With the totals turned off, no information is displayed about the Total Type in your analysis table. You can open the i-bar at the bottom of the analysis screen to see information about the table, including the total type that is used for the reference.
- Create an analysis and totals are automatically included
- From the modify menu, click the OFF button to remove all the totals
- When totals are hidden, click the i to turn the i-bar on.
With Totals OFF, you can still interact with the Total Types. Use the drop down arrow with the Totals ON or OFF and change as needed.
- With Totals ON, use the drop-down menu to adjust the Total Type
- Total Type functionality remains the same with Totals OFF

When hiding totals, pin the i-bar so you can always see information about the table.
2. Use the Selector to Show/Hide Totals
Hide Totals for One Dimension
If you want to hide totals for specific items, use the interactive title to access the Selector and uncheck the total in a specific dimension.
- By default, totals in both dimensions are displayed
- Use the Selector to hide a total in one dimension
- To show totals for all items, first toggle totals OFF, then toggle ON
Show Totals in a Nested Analysis
Totals are automatically hidden (OFF) in the nested dimension of an analysis table, whether you nest a grid, or individual axes.
If you want to add totals into the nested dimension, there are two options:
- Use the Selector to add totals individually within the nested axes. This is useful if you want to control where the totals appear in the nested axes, for example, in only one of the nested axes.
- Toggle the Totals OFF then ON to see the totals for all the nested items.
- Totals are shown in a cross tab analysis
- Nest in an axis and totals are hidden by default in the nested dimension
- To show individual item totals, click the title and add from the selector
- Toggle totals OFF and back ON to show all totals
