Learn about the different constructions or UCAs (user created axes) you can create in Harmoni. This overview outlines the series of articles to guide users on creating new items.
When a Project Owner starts a new project, the source file variables might lack necessary items for analysis. Harmoni allows you to create customized variables that fit your analysis and reporting needs. Once Project Owners create these new items, they are accessible to everyone in the published project.
There are several techniques to build constructions efficiently. Utilize the expression editor and the design menu, to enhance existing items, copy and make changes to variables, incorporate other constructions, or create new items with user-entered values.
Common examples of when user created axes might be constructed include:
- To form groups of people based on a number of variables i.e. segments
- To re-define an already existing group of people to create different demographic groupings
- Create nets, grouping elements or axes together.
Creators (non-owners) and Explorers can also create new items, but these constructions are private.
