A funnel graph displays data from largest at the top to smallest at the bottom, illustrating stages in a process like a sales funnel. Harmoni shows conversion ratios as percentages between stages, with options to show/hide these ratios and customize graph order using reorder or ranking. The funnel graph shape depends on data order, not the graph icon, and conversion direction can be reversed by switching to a pyramid graph.

The order of your data in the project tree or analysis table determines the graph's shape, not the graph icon. The graph type controls the direction of the conversion ratio.
1. Funnel Graph
A funnel graph visually displays a process in a funnel shape, where the top is the widest part and the bottom is the narrowest. Each segment represents the flow of users or data through stages, with each subsequent stage having fewer users or data points than the previous one.
In the example below, the axes are ordered with the largest values at the top and smallest values at the bottom. The chart illustrates the progression of potential customers through a sales funnel, starting from awareness, then consideration, moving to preference and finally loyalty.
- Select the axes. In this case a grid has been setup with the required axes that share the same element list
- Click Visualize and Harmoni defaults to a bar graph
- From the Visualize menu, select the funnel graph icon
2. Conversion Ratio
In Harmoni, the conversion ratio displays as a percentages for each segment, showing the proportion of respondents who move from one level to the next, providing a clear visualization of each segment's performance and its influence on the overall result. The conversion ratio sits to the left of the funnel.
Tooltip
When hovering over the conversion ratio, a tooltip displays the two elements used to calculate the ratio. The conversion ratios for a funnel graph remain under 100% because as you move down the funnel, each level is smaller than the level above.
The conversion rate shows the proportion of respondents who move from one level of the funnel to the next. In the example of Cool Nut below, 72% of respondents move from Aware to Consider, 91% from Consider to Prefer, and finally 61% move from Prefer to Convert. The conversion ratio default direction is from top to bottom.
Show/Hide
You have the option to display or hide the conversion ratio. From the drop-down menu below the funnel graph, untick the Show Conversion Ratio option.
To reverse the conversion rate direction shown next to the graph, click the Pyramid Graph Learn more about Pyramid Graphs button. The visualization remains the same.
3. Customize Your Graph
Reordering Axes
Using reorder allows you to manually change and control the order of the rows. This can be necessary if you are pulling individual axes from the project tree, rather than a grid with a preset order. When you select individual axes, Harmoni defaults to ordering the axes in the same order as they appear in the project tree.
Note: that you cannot use reorder if ranking has been used.
- Drag the required axes with the same elements to the analysis pane
- Use reorder to order the rows
- Click Visualize and select the funnel graph

Ranking
You can change the order of the rows by using Rank. In the example below, we can use Rank to the order the axes largest at the top to smallest at the bottom creating the funnel shape.
- Drag the required axes to the analysis pane
- Rank the table, in this example one click to rank from high to low.
- Use the Visualize menu to select a funnel graph
