Harmoni Dashboards let you organize saved stories into custom layouts and designs. You can update a story directly from your dashboard by selecting the chart, loading the story, making changes, and saving it to overwrite the existing version.

1. Edit Story Views
Stories are collections of views that can be used for dashboard creation. As a dashboard owner, when you insert a chart into a dashboard, it comes from a story.
To edit a view you don't have to remember where it came from, you simply need to select the Go to view icon at the top left of charts on dashboards. Clicking the icon loads the chart and its project.
Click the dashboard edit pen icon and then click the Go to view icon in the chart container.
Once you load the story view, open the project tree and make any adjustments. After editing your view, select Overwrite to update the original story view and the changes are automatically applied to your dashboard chart.
In this example, a dashboard contains three charts that all have the same filter; Age Group. A new filter is added to a story view and as there are three charts on the dashboard page that are all filtered, the other two story views need to have the same filter added.
If the same filter needs to be added to the whole story, you must add it manually to each story view.
- Click the edit pen, then click the Go to view icon on the chart
- The story view opens in the analysis view
- Add the filter; the unsaved changes icon appears
- Click + to save and overwrite the story view
- Repeat these changes for each story view
- On the dashboard, the selector updates with the new filter
