After a project loads, you can see all the variable types identified by their corresponding icon in the project tree. The project tree filters at the top of the project tree help you to filter and find specific variable types.

1. Project Tree Filters
Project tree filter options allow you to quickly shrink the tree to the type of item required for either project design or analysis. Filters options are available at the top of the project tree.
- Filters reduce the items displayed.
- Filters are context-sensitive; options change depending on the type of items in your project.
- Applying filters shrinks the project tree; it only shows the selected type.
- Use the reset tree option at the bottom of the search and design menus to clear the filters.

ERR |
Broken or empty constructions - Harmoni automatically identifies broken constructions as a result of a data source being removed or overwritten, or when the definition is empty. Invalid or empty constructions are shown in red in the project tree. You can also identify these by using the ERR icon under the Project tree filters. |
| New – Use this filter to show new items. This filter will show any new variable or construction added to the project since the last time it was published. New items are shown in bold in the project tree. New items can be from a data source or new construction in the project tree. After publishing, new items will no longer be new. | |
| Unsynced items - This filter shows constructions that have not been synced. The blue font also identifies unsynced items. | |
| Personal User Created Items - Explorers and Creator (non-owners) can click this filter to view the constructions they have created. | |
| Shared User Created Items - Click this filter to view the constructions that have been shared with you from another Explorer or Creator (non-owner). | |
| Use the EXCL filter to view items in the project tree that have been flagged as excluded. Excluded items are not published to all users and can only be seen and used by the Project Owner(s). |
