In Harmoni, the item label in the project tree is referred to as the display label. The display label in the project tree is mapped to the original label in your source data; this is referred to as the source label.
In this article
1. Identify the Source Label
When the display label is different from the source label, you can identify the source label by using the view/add sources option in the project tree.
Source Label in the Project Tree
When the display label is different from the source label, the source label of a standard axis or element can be seen by hovering over a source in the view/add sources panel.
- In project edit mode, select view/add sources.
- Select an item in your project tree (i.e., axis)
- Hover over the source name, and Harmoni displays the source label for the selected item
Note: Harmoni will not display the source name of constructed items.
2. Find a Source Label
You can also do a search when you know the original label of a variable in your data source. The search will return the corresponding match in the project tree.
For the search to work, you need to select the search in source label option in the search menu.
- In the search menu, select search in source label
- In the search project tree area, enter the source label you want to locate
- Hit enter or click on the search icon
- The search will return items that match the relevant source label
3. Revert a Label
Revert is a powerful way to return your project labels to a previous/original state. You can use the revert label option if you wish to change the display label across all sources or when you just need to change the label from one of your sources. Reverting a label creates a new item in the project tree.
